Chronic kidney disease is a condition with decreased glomerular filtration rate. Chronic renal failure is one such disease that presents with a spectrum of oral manifestations such as uremic stomatitis, xerostomia, metallic taste, mucosal petechiae, ecchymosis, renal osteodystrophy, oral candidiasis, periodontal disease, mucosal lesions, and oral malignancies.
