Multilocular cystic nephroma: An uncommon entity

Sir,
We read with interest the article titled "Adult benign multicystic nephroma: A diagnostic dilemma." [1] We also had reported two cases of multilocular cystic nephroma from our institute in South India. [2] One of our case was a 16-year-old young female. They underwent nephrectomy because of the clinical suspicion of cystic renal cell carcinoma. However, histopathologically they were proved as multilocular cystic nephroma. We fully agree with observation of authors that multilocular cystic nephroma is an uncommon cystic lesion of the kidney and should be differentiated from malignant cystic renal tumors in both children and adults and a definitive diagnosis is made following surgical treatment with total or partial nephrectomy depending on the size and location of the lesion in the kidney.
